Dr Ashlee McCarthy

Ashlee is a General Paediatrician who is passionate about her work and loves spending time with patients and their families. She is interested in all areas of General Paediatrics, from infancy to adolescence.

Ashlee graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2013. She obtained her diploma of Child Health in 2014 and subsequently obtained Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2024. She completed her paediatric training across multiple hospitals including Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Port Augusta Hospital, and the Royal Darwin Hospital where she has completed her paediatric training.

Ashlee is a mother to 2 young children and empathises with the demands on families today. She is passionate about providing holistic child and family-centred care. She is passionate about supporting children with their families, with particular interests in general paediatric complaints such as constipation, enuresis, eczema, sleep problems, feeding and growth issues to developmental and behavioural concerns including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
