Dr Matthew Lynch

Matthew is a General Paediatrician with an interest in acute medical issues along with developmental and behavioural problems in children from newborn through to age 18.

Matthew graduated from Flinders University in 2010 and undertook his initial paediatric training in Adelaide. He completed the last two years of training in Darwin and Katherine, being admitted Fellowship to the College of Physicians in 2019. Across this time Matthew has developed a broad experience of individual and public health issues within the community along with an understanding of the services and supports available to families.

Matthew continues to be involved in research relevant to the health issues commonly seen in the Northern Territory through the Menzies School of Health Research.

Starting in 2020 Matthew will be working with Catholic Education Northern Territory, developing a school based clinic with access to a wide range of allied health and support services within this system. Please let us know at the time of booking if your child is enrolled in a Catholic Education school and would like them seen in this setting.

Matthew and his family have fallen in love with the lifestyle of Darwin and enjoy exploring this beautiful part of the world. Matthew is a father of two young girls with a third child soon to join his family. He understands the concerns of parents regarding their child’s health and development.
